Rebecca Kendrick

Rebecca Kendrick - Attorney Ellijay Georgia
Rebecca Kendrick joined in December 2014 bringing six years of comprehensive real property law experience to the law firm.

A native of Blairsville, Georgia, she graduated from the University of Georgia with honors then finished at the top of her class from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 2008.

In addition to her real estate practice, Rebecca practices in the areas of divorce and family law as well as estate planning and workers’ compensation. She has represented the Department of Child Support Services where she gained valuable experience through navigating Georgia’s child support laws.

John E. Mahan

Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, John received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tennessee and attended the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Public Administration. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the Atlanta Law School and was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1982.

His primary practice areas include Real Property Law, with his focus primarily in residential and commercial real estate closings, title issues and real estate litigation. He also practices in the areas of Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, and Probate, including guardianships and conservatorships, Personal Injury, Business Formation & Business Litigation.

He has served as Guardian Ad Litem in the Superior Court and Probate Court of Gilmer County. He currently serves as The County Administrator for the Gilmer County Probate Court and is also serving as the Public Defender for the City of Ellijay.

Jessica Henderson


Jessica Henderson joined the firm in November 2019. She is a native of Gilmer County, Georgia. After studying abroad in Seville, Spain she graduated from Mercer University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a double major in Psychology and Spanish. She is fluent in Spanish.

While in law school, Jessica was an Intern for the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office as an Appellate Intern. She also aided Chief ADA Michael S. Carlson in the editing and publishing of Carlson on Evidence Sixth Edition and Trial Handbook for Georgia Lawyers 2017-2018.

She worked under District Attorney Victor Reynolds and Deputy Chief ADA Jason Saliba as a trial intern in the Narcotics Unit (MCS). She spent her final year as a law clerk for the Bibb County Solicitor General’s Office. Jessica graduated at the top of her class from Mercer University School of Law in May 2019. Jessica is now an Associate Attorney at Kendrick & Associates Law, PC, Attorneys at Law specializing in Real Estate, Bankruptcy, Personal Injury & Criminal law.
